Weight Loss (Funny Videos Included)

Weight loss is a huge topic of interest for many people. Obviously, this is because so many people are above their ideal body weight and they are looking for free weight loss plans that will actually work for them. They don’t need a weight chart to figure this out. They can tell by looking in the mirror, remembering the ideal waist size they once had, realizing that something needs to change.
Before I get into my story and different weight loss approaches and resources on this site, I would like to share a hysterical video on weight loss that I think you will really enjoy:
My name is Mark Williams, and I am committed to making this site the best resource I can to help you achieve healthy weight loss. You see, I was overweight and unhealthy. You would think that I would have learned to take better care of myself after surviving cancer. But, I let my weight get out of control. I suffered from chronic inflammation and was completely lacking in energy. In fact, I drank 3-4 cups of coffee a day and still didn’t have any energy.
But, after popping 12 Advil’s a day for a week to try to get some relief from my inflammation, I had enough! Long story short, I researched my weight loss options and implemented a plan to not only lose weight, but to increase my energy levels to levels I never dreamed I would have again. I did all of this without any kind of weight loss surgery or diet pills. I also didn’t go on some crash diet or fad diet. I knew that approach was not sustainable. I wanted my weight loss healthy and permanent!
I would also like to point out that I am not a calorie counter. In fact, I don’t monitor my calorie intake very closely at all. By changing what I ate and by exercising, I was able to lose weight healthy. The end result is that I achieved the natural weight loss I was looking for and so much more. More importantly, I kept the weight off! I did this by changing my lifestyle, NOT going on a diet. My heart goes out to those who are stuck where they don’t want to be with their weight and health in general. I want to help.
Maybe you are suffering and hoping for some quick weight loss miracle. But, I want to advocate a reasonable and sustainable approach to losing weight. Yes, I did have some fast weight loss in the first few weeks. But then, it came off slow and steady. Of course, the amount of time it will take you to accomplish your goal will depend on how much weight you have to lose. Maybe you just want to lose 10 pounds fast, lose belly fat, or lose love handles. Or, maybe you need to lose 20 pounds or more. Set a time goal that is reasonable for the amount of weight loss you need to achieve.
Weight Loss Approaches
I realize that there are a lot of approaches to weight loss. Some are valid and some can be dangerous or unrealistic. Some tools, like diet pills (Alli, Hydroxycut, Lipozene, and Proactol, for example) can have their place if they are not abused. And, some weight loss options are more extreme and dangerous. Examples of this would be weight loss surgery (i.e. liposuction, gastric bypass, or bariatric surgery). Finally, some are just goofy. I even saw a website the other day with free weight loss spells you can supposedly cast to help. Hopefully, you can see that I am not saying there is only one way to lose weight. And, I believe there is a way for YOU that will work! So, don’t give up.

Weight Loss Resources on this Site
On this site, you will find resources on many different approaches to weight loss. These include weight loss tips, healthy weight loss plans that just call for changing the foods you eat and moving your body more. This can be done with or without weight loss supplements (i.e. Slimfast or Acai berry juice). You may have seen inspiring stories using this approach on The Biggest Loser. On that show, celebrity weight loss personality Jillian Michaels helped contestants get some amazing results by changing their diet and exercising.
I know some people who have had great success with online weight loss programs like Jenny Craig or books like the South Beach Diet or the Zone diet. Others swear by Weight Watchers and they count their Weight Watchers points. Nutrisystem also offers a structured and effective program. These can all be great weight loss options.
In conclusion, I really want this site to be like a weight loss encyclopedia that will give you unbiased information on everything related to weight loss, whether I agree with the approach or not.
